I followed the Apple WWDC keynote today and I'm sold, hook line and sinker, I want an iPhone.

And I can justify it too because its not as expensive as it was and I'm a web developer so I have to be able to test the mojoPortal experience on an iPhone since a lot of people are viewing the web with it and more will be soon with 3G. Yeah thats the ticket, I "have to" have one for work. See how easy that was.

Only problem now is July 11 seems a long time to wait, I'm impatient, I want it now :-D

The iPhone is pretty slick, and I have to admit the browsing experience is very compelling.  Personally, though, I think I'm going to hold out for the HTC Touch Pro later this year.  Reviews of the TouchFLO interface (also on the HTC Touch Diamond) make it seem like there are many advantages over the iPhone, especially with customizations and software that should be available.

That phone looks cool, but one of the criteria for me is it has to fit in my pocket. I don't want a phone clipped on my belt. iphone just barely meets this requirement but it does meet it well enough for me. I had a PocketPC phone several years ago and I didn't like it because it was too big. I have a Razr at the moment and I love how small it is but to get a reasonable screen size for web surfing I'll have to be willing to have a bigger device as long as it still fits in my pocket. iPhone seems about as small as they could make it and still fit in your pocket reasonably.
